Carol Packard
Vice President, Development and Alumni Relations
Carol Packard joined Lehigh University as vice president for development and alumni relations on April 15, bringing more than 20 years of experience in both the private sector and higher education. Packard has successfully shaped three separate billion-dollar campaigns and is a thought leader in developing programs that recognize the vital role of women and other underrepresented populations in philanthropy today.
Previously, Packard served in leadership roles at Cornell University, including its College of Engineering, and Penn State University. At both institutions, she led teams to new levels of success, driving significant increases in philanthropic contributions and alumni engagement.
Packard holds a B.S. in English literature, graduated as a Schreyer Honors scholar, and has an M.Ed. in higher education administration from Penn State University. Her extensive experience and commitment to philanthropy make her a valuable addition to Lehigh University's development and alumni engagement efforts.
