Civic Coffee
is a monthly event by
Seattle Human Services
where older people can meet community leaders and local government officials, ask questions and provide feedback. It is produced in partnership with
The Seattle Public Library
. Interpretation is offered by advance request (via
agefriendly@seattle.gov
). See links at the top of this page for topics and to join online, by phone or in-person, or to download event flyers in multiple languages.
Why it Matters
Older adults deserve the opportunity to interact directly with decision-makers at City Hall and the community, no matter their location and ability to travel. Civic participation, social participation, and discourse are important components of health and well-being.
