Admission Statics
Applicants outside Japan are highly recommended to apply to Winter AO because:
1. there's no need to travel to Japan for the screening*, and
2. there are scholarship opportunities exclusively for Winter AO applicants.
*Applications for Spring, Summer, or Fall AO screenings require an in-person interview in Japan on a designated date.
*The Faculty of Policy Management and the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies do not accept transfer students.

*1 Those who are expected to graduate Japanese high schools in or after October 2026, cannot choose to enroll in April 2027. Please consider Summer/Fall AO 2026 onwards.
