AI expert: not knowing how to use generative AI does not mean you will lose your job
8 Apr 2026
According to the latest data, Lithuania is among the world leaders in the use of artificial intelligence tools. Nevertheless, growing use of technology does not in itself mean that we are one step ahead. According to Dr Agnė Paulauskaitė-Tarasevičienė, professor at Kaunas University of Technology (
KTU

KTU Researchers Develop a Model That Improves Machine Understanding of the Real World
29 Mar 2026
What if technology, such as self-driving cars, drones, or intelligent navigation systems, could understand the world the way we do – not just seeing shapes, but recognising meaning? KTU researcher: tracking inequity in the space economy
25 Mar 2026
Outer space is big business. Technological innovation has driven launch costs down so far that space operations are becoming affordable to an increasing range of commercial actors and private individuals. Growing numbers of private companies are landing (and crashing) vehicles on the Moon. Space mining, such as for Rare Earth deposits in asteroids, or for lunar ice, promises big paydays while possibly extending the reach of humanity beyond the Moon and further into the solar system. And a planned hotel on the surface of the Moon is taking space tourism to the next level.
