Visit the New Lanark Spinning Co. Gift Shop located in Mill 2 at New Lanark, offering a range of contemporary gifts, books and Scottish produce including New Lanark yarn and products. Our Gift Shop is currently open Monday to Sunday 10am – 5pm.
We’re located just over a mile from Lanark, less than an hour from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Our General Store stocks all varieties and colours of our beautiful yarn, which are ideal for both hand-knitting and machine-knitting. We also stock knitting kits which contain the wool necessary to complete the project and an exclusive New Lanark pattern to help guide you in knitting it.

FOOD & DRINK
One of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland – and its most easterly – Glen Garioch (pronounced Geery in the ancient Doric dialect still spoken in these parts) has been making its mighty malt in the quaint and historic market town of Oldmeldrum, near Aberdeen in North East Scotland, ever since 1797. Shielded from the world’s prying eyes, deep in the fertile ‘Granary of Aberdeenshire’, and only ever produced in small.
