The Curry College Athletics Department is excited to announce that the Walter M. Katz Field will be re-turfed entirely in Curry Purple in the summer of 2026, providing a vibrant new look for when our teams return to competition in the fall.
Katz Field serves as the home site for Curry's men's and women's soccer, men's and women's lacrosse, and football. Additionally, Curry's Rugby Club team and intramural sports teams will now benefit from the newly turfed field.
"This enhancement to a more colorful, purple turf field represents so much more than an upgrade, it's a statement about who we are at Curry College," said Athletic Director Vinnie Eruzione. "Our men's and women's NCAA, club, and intramural athletic teams deserve a facility worthy of their commitment, and this field delivers. It's a symbol of pride, power, and honor for our entire community, and we couldn't be more excited to see our teams take the field this fall."
Walter M. Katz Field is a fully turfed outdoor surface with stadium lighting, suitable for multiple sports, and includes bleacher seating for 2,000 spectators.
