How do I get started?
Get started today! Contact the Transitional Studies division at 509-542-4701 to get
started in the onboarding process.
What will happen at my first appointment?
You'll meet one-on-one with staff to discuss your goals, complete paperwork and schedule
your placement exam. We use intrepretors and translation tools to help you through
the process.
How do I schedule my placement test?
At the close of your intake appointment, we will schedule your placement test. Missed
your test date with us? Give us a call at 509-542-4701 to reschedule.
What will happen at my orientation?
You learn more about your upcoming classes, and how to access what you need for first
day. Staff will assist you in setting up your student email address, logging into
your student center, and answer questions.
How much do ELA classes cost?
All ELA classes are offered for a tuition fee of $25 per quarter. Tuition waivers
are available for eligible students.
What time of day are ELA classes offered?
ELA classes are offered in the morning and evening throughout the year. Our morning
classes are typically begin after 8:00am and finished by 12:00pm. Our evening classes
typically begin after 5:30pm.
Where are ELA classes held?
We are currently offering classes on the Pasco campus and online.
