BTech ECE
B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering focuses on developing a suitable academic environment to promote research attitude, employability readiness and entrepreneurial spirit among students.
It is an intensely focused undergraduate program tailored to a student’s interests and real-world opportunities.
The Electronics and Communication Engineers work in the areas of design, development, research, and manufacturing of Internet of Things, 5G & Beyond and Information Processing & Analytics.
Students undertake courses in Basic Sciences, Mathematics, Basic Engineering, along with core subjects of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

Specialisations
Embedded Systems and IoT
In the Embedded System, hardware design and software programming are used for innovative product development. The various embedded systems are interconnected using IoT based network. IoT is very crucial for the industry as well as other environments in achieving high productivity, efficiency, safe working environment, and low carbon emissions. IoT solutions are going to play a very important role in home automation, security, and various industrial problems with 5G communications. In Embedded Systems and IoT specialisation, students are imparted knowledge of hardware design, software development, and interconnection with network and cloud infrastructure. The students completing the course can opt for jobs in various companies such as Synopsys, Intel, NXP, Qualcomm, Analog Devices, Samsung, Microsoft, Siemens. The various job profiles in the industry are IoT lead Engineer, IP Design Lead Engineer, Hardware Architect, ASIC Design FPGA Engineer, Application Engineer.
The courses addresses various topics on Hardware-Software Co-design, Real Time Operating System, Data Management and Cloud Computing, and IoT Networks and Protocols
Data and Signal Analytics
The Specialisation focuses design, development, and research areas such as Data Analytics, Machine and Deep Learning, Information Processing & Analytics, an Computer Vision. The specialisation is carefully designed to attain technical aspects that enable students to grow into competent Data Analytics professionals.
Signal and Data analytics is about making conclusions from the information they contain. Data analytics with machine learning technologies are widely used in commercial industries, research communities. The specialisation focuses on building foundations in data analytics using machine learning, a deep understanding of the area of specialisation, and innovative ability to solve new problems. Interdisciplinary skill sets and knowledge to handle and analyse large amounts of data are now essential for many career paths. The use of data analytics is a growing trend spanning all industries. The specialisation offers Machine Learning, Exploratory Data Analytics, Big Data, Natural Language Processing, and Artificial Intelligence, along with basic courses in programming languages.
Mechatronics
Mechatronics is an interdisciplinary field that combines mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, and control engineering to design and create intelligent systems and products. The goal of mechatronics is to integrate these diverse engineering disciplines to develop more efficient and intelligent systems with enhanced functionalities.

Minors
Students are required to earn more credits in a field other than ECE through crediting a specific set of courses offered by other departments (16 credits from other departments). Minors offered by different engineering streams are open to B.Tech. ECE students.
Mechatronics (with Mechanical Engineering Department at BU)
Honours
Honours in Electronics and Communication Engineering is obtained by earning 18 more credits than the regular degree by studying six advanced courses.
Projects
12 credit Major Project in the 8th semester, five credits in the 7th semester, and one credit in the 6th semester are mandatory. Students have an opportunity to start the project in the 6th semester, continue to evolve during the summer after 6th and 7th semesters, and finally finish it in the final semester. Such a long association helps the student gain considerable knowledge and skills required for prospective jobs.
Internships
One internship at the end of the 6th semester is part of the curriculum. Students have interned at INRS EMT Lab (Montreal, Canada), IITs, IIITs ECE Research Labs, HERE Maps, UST Software, Airport Authority of India, and various other industries.

I have published two research papers under the ECE faculty guidance. The curriculum is different from other colleges with great lab facilities. And a good part of studying in a university is that there are different fields of subjects offered that you can explore from Management, Law and Media Schools. BTech ECE
B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering focuses on developing a suitable academic environment to promote research attitude, employability readiness and entrepreneurial spirit among students.
It is an intensely focused undergraduate program tailored to a student’s interests and real-world opportunities.
The Electronics and Communication Engineers work in the areas of design, development, research, and manufacturing of Internet of Things, 5G & Beyond and Information Processing & Analytics.
Students undertake courses in Basic Sciences, Mathematics, Basic Engineering, along with core subjects of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

Specialisations
Embedded Systems and IoT
In the Embedded System, hardware design and software programming are used for innovative product development. The various embedded systems are interconnected using IoT based network. IoT is very crucial for the industry as well as other environments in achieving high productivity, efficiency, safe working environment, and low carbon emissions. IoT solutions are going to play a very important role in home automation, security, and various industrial problems with 5G communications. In Embedded Systems and IoT specialisation, students are imparted knowledge of hardware design, software development, and interconnection with network and cloud infrastructure. The students completing the course can opt for jobs in various companies such as Synopsys, Intel, NXP, Qualcomm, Analog Devices, Samsung, Microsoft, Siemens. The various job profiles in the industry are IoT lead Engineer, IP Design Lead Engineer, Hardware Architect, ASIC Design FPGA Engineer, Application Engineer.

Data and Signal Analytics
The Specialisation focuses design, development, and research areas such as Data Analytics, Machine and Deep Learning, Information Processing & Analytics, an Computer Vision. The specialisation is carefully designed to attain technical aspects that enable students to grow into competent Data Analytics professionals.
Signal and Data analytics is about making conclusions from the information they contain. Data analytics with machine learning technologies are widely used in commercial industries, research communities. The specialisation focuses on building foundations in data analytics using machine learning, a deep understanding of the area of specialisation, and innovative ability to solve new problems. Mechatronics

In India and around the world, VLSI design plays a crucial role in the semiconductor industry, contributing to the development of advanced electronic devices such as microprocessors, memory chips, and application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). Minors
Students are required to earn more credits in a field other than ECE through crediting a specific set of courses offered by other departments (16 credits from other departments). Minors offered by different engineering streams are open to B.Tech. ECE students.
Mechatronics (with Mechanical Engineering Department at BU)
Honours
Honours in Electronics and Communication Engineering is obtained by earning 18 more credits than the regular degree by studying six advanced courses.
Projects
12 credit Major Project in the 8th semester, five credits in the 7th semester, and one credit in the 6th semester are mandatory. Students have an opportunity to start the project in the 6th semester, continue to evolve during the summer after 6th and 7th semesters, and finally finish it in the final semester. Such a long association helps the student gain considerable knowledge and skills required for prospective jobs.
Internships
One internship at the end of the 6th semester is part of the curriculum. Students have interned at INRS EMT Lab (Montreal, Canada), IITs, IIITs ECE Research Labs, HERE Maps, UST Software, Airport Authority of India, and various other industries.

I have published two research papers under the ECE faculty guidance. The curriculum is different from other colleges with great lab facilities. And a good part of studying in a university is that there are different fields of subjects offered that you can explore from Management, Law and Media Schools. I took a course in my 6th semester on Creative writing that I thoroughly enjoyed. Bennett University has an NVIDIA lab that provides you with the hardware resources for your Machine learning research - I have worked on a supercomputer with multiple GPUs .

Student pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering can
become an expert in IoT, by learning courses related to Embedded Systems and IoT
and improving skills by doing projects in this area. The different courses in this

TThe electronics industry will be a game-changer after the government had
announced in its Union Budget 2022-2023. Government has taken various
initiatives to make the electronics industry robust, of which electronics chip
manufacturing has gained momentum. There will be around 1.3 Lacs jobs per year

This is the right time to take admission in ECE. Even, All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE) has issued a letter to various educational
institutes/universities in India to start Chip design and manufacturing courses in
Electronics.
