We are excited to share a historic and transformative development for both Hilton Head Preparatory School and Sea Pines Montessori Academy. After thoughtful consideration and planning, we are pleased to announce that
Sea Pines Montessori Academy will be joining Hilton Head Prep
to form a unified institution serving children from 15 months to 12th grade.
This new partnership builds on the long-standing legacies of both schools, which have deep roots in our community. Founded by Charles and Mary Fraser, Hilton Head Prep and Sea Pines Montessori Academy have been dedicated to providing an exceptional educational experience for decades. Together, we will honor that tradition while opening new doors for our students and families.
What This Means for our Students:
Educational Continuity:
This merger ensures a seamless educational journey for your child, from early childhood through the college preparatory years. The school will continue to operate as Hilton Head Preparatory School, with a new Montessori-based division called “Sea Pines Montessori Academy at Hilton Head Preparatory School” for students from 15 months to 3rd grade, complementing our current traditional track in the lower school. The school will offer parallel tracks from Kindergarten through Third Grade.
