Service and Missions - Greater Atlanta Christian School
Service and Missions
Make a Difference in the World.
Share the Gospel and Experience Other Cultures.
Greater Atlanta Christian School students share their gifts with other individuals and communities, as they develop as global citizens. We join and lead mission teams and service projects in our own communities and across the world.
The GAC Missions Program has always been at the heart of our school. We have seen God move in powerful ways, not only in the locations in which we serve, but in the hearts and lives of GAC students and adults. We will be sending GAC mission teams on 18 mission trips all over the world with over 400 students and faculty members on mission.
We see how serving transforms children into insightful, confident, and generous adults. For some students, GAC missions are the chance of a lifetime. For others, they are the beginning of a lifetime of travel and service. Join us in sharing God’s word and example.
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
Ephesians 2:10 NIV
“On our mission trip to Guatemala, our students were able to encounter the gospel through serving those in need around us. When we were doing our dedication of the house we built to hand the keys over to the family, you could feel the presence of God there and how the students were moved through that moment.”
