What makes working at the UO unique?
Part-time employment
at the University of Oregon gives students a
unique opportunity to work where they learn
. At the UO,
student employees are students first
. Their education is our top priority. As employees, students:
Gain valuable on-the-job experience to complement their education.
Work alongside professional staff, and in some instances faculty, who are invested in their future and champion their success.

Student Jobs
There are a variety of jobs available across our campuses designed especially for UO students. Positions are available in almost every unit, school, and college. While most are entry-level, requiring no specialized skill or previous experience, some do require training and previously acquired expertise.
What you need to know:
Positions are part-time; student employees can work up to 25 hours per week.
Employment laws, regulations, and UO policies extend to student employees, such as meal and rest periods, health and safety, and protections against harassment and discrimination.
