Public Utility Requests
You may forward a written request for public records regarding public utility and other non-transportation matters to the following address:

Transportation Requests
You may forward a written request for public records regarding the Commission's regulation of motor carriers, rail carriers, commercial relocators of trespassing motor vehicles, commercial vehicle safety relocators, personal property warehousing, collateral recovery and household goods movers, to the following address:

ICC.TransportationFOIARequest@illinois.gov
All FOIA requests will be responded to within 5 days starting the first business day after the ICC receives the request. If additional time is needed, the public body must notify the requestor in writing within 5 business days after the receipt of the request of the statutory reasons for the extension and when the requested information will be produced.
