Home | Winchester Cultural Council The Winchester Cultural Council is a group of volunteers, appointed by the town's Select Board, who work to serve the artistic and cultural life of the town. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, through the Massachusetts Cultural Council, gives Winchester a grant of money each year to support the arts, humanities and interpretive sciences. The WCC then awards this money to local individuals and groups who have submitted grant applications. Winchester Cultural Council Announces Grants for 2026 The Winchester Cultural Council awarded $14,625 for 21 grants as part of the annual grants program for 2026 . Funding for these grants came from the annual Local Cultural Council funding program of the Massachusetts Cultural Council and from the citizens of Winchester, through the Town of Winchester's own budget.
