Neville Hall, Westgate Road, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 1SE.
The Common Room formed as a charity in 2017 to restore Neville Hall in Newcastle, a grade II* listed building. The building's archive and heritage is now being utilised to inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators.
We also offer our unique heritage spaces to public for collaboration, events, lectures, weddings and more.
A North East Landmark
We are custodians of Neville Hall, historically the home of the North of England Institute of Mining and Mechanical Engineers since 1872. This architectural gem once echoed with the hustle and bustle of mining innovation.
