ChristianaCare has been named by U.S. News & World Report to its
2025-2026 Best Hospitals
as a High Performing hospital for 14 conditions and three procedures.

High Performing is the highest distinction a hospital can earn for U.S. News’ Best Hospitals Procedures & Conditions ratings. The recognition encompasses both of ChristianaCare’s Delaware hospitals—Wilmington Hospital and Christiana Hospital.

ChristianaCare is also ranked as the No. 1 hospital in Delaware and tied for the No. 3 hospital in the greater Philadelphia region, which is home to more than 80 hospitals.

U.S. News evaluated more than 4,400 hospitals across 15 adult specialties and 22 procedures and conditions; only 13% of evaluated hospitals earned a Best Hospitals designation.
Mari Lou Parkinson of Lewes, Delaware, was diagnosed with high-grade serous endometrial cancer, an aggressive form, and received treatment with ChristianaCare’s Arielle Katcher, M.D., one of two gynecologic oncologists in Delaware.
