Saved courses Search website Benefits and Discounts As BCU Alumni, you can access a wide range of benefits and services, including further study discounts, sports centre memberships and library access. Further study discounts The Graduate Scholarship is a 20% fee reduction available to all BCU graduates (BA, BSc, LLB, MA, MSc, LLM, PGCE) enrolling onto an eligible Master’s or PhD qualification, whether you’re continuing your studies or returning to BCU. It is aimed at encouraging you to fulfil your postgraduate potential by continuing your academic career at BCU. More about the scholarship Careers support Ongoing careers advice and support for three years after you graduate, including opportunities to attend career events, and facilitating your career development. Recent graduates can also apply for BCU roles as part of the Grow Your Own graduate programme Sign up for careers support Library Access Our libraries provide access to around 62 million resources, including books, online journals and much more. As a graduate, you can register for free access to the physical library space for up to 24 months from the completion date of your course. After the 24-month period has ended, there will be an annual non-refundable charge for a fee of just £35 a year. BCU Library University Systems BCU Alumni can continue to access services on the University system for 24 months after the completion of their course. Systems include iCity, mySRS, OneDrive, Moodle, Mahara and Office 365. University Systems University Email As a BCU graduate, you can still use your BCU email account for 24 months after you graduate under the University Student Password policy. You can access your BCU email online using the Outlook app or by using the ‘Student Email’ link at the bottom of our website. University Email Sports Centre The Doug Ellis Sports Centre boasts an 80-station fitness suite, an eight-court sports hall and an all-weather pitch, as well as workout and spinning studios. Visitors can take advantage of a selection of classes and choose a personalised fitness programme. As BCU Alumni, you can have discounted membership to the sports centre, so that even after you graduate, you can still get your fitness fix. Monthly membership starts from £10 per month and flexible payment schemes are available, as well as the option to pay per visit.
