The Middle Years Programme is a rigorous and challenging five-year programme for students aged 11 to 16 that helps them evolve and adapt the knowledge, prowess, and capabilities required to stay ahead of the curve and thrive in this constantly changing world. The programme empowers students to inquire into a wide range of issues and ideas of significance locally, nationally, and globally. The result is young people who are creative, critical, and reflective thinkers. The OIS pedagogy aligned with the MYP framework is a stimulating curriculum that empowers each student to meet their true potential and mentors them for the challenges of the DP Programme. At OIS, Service as Action runs through all 5 years of the MYP programme. Year 5 culminates with a Personal Project which is a student-initiated project based on their interest and passion.
