Intro to College Academics
8-Week Virtual Classes for Current High School Students to Develop Critical College Academic Skills
College-level courses put significant demands on students’ critical academic skills — including more essays, longer projects, in-depth research, and complex math. For students who struggle in one or more areas of their coursework, this academic transition can have a negative effect on their grades, mental health, and adjustment to college life.
Our
8-week online Introduction to College Academics
courses provide current high school juniors and seniors with a dedicated small-class setting to develop the skills needed to plan and execute college-level assignments in reading, writing, and mathematics.
Students participate in
weekly live, online courses
plus hands-on activities and independent self-study to learn and perform each stage of the process. By the end of this course, each student will have completed a physical piece of work relevant to their current high school studies.
Please note: these courses are not offered for college credit.

Introduction to AI in Academics (Full)
Week of February 9 – April 6
Artificial intelligence is becoming part of everyday life — and college is no exception. In this course, students will learn what AI is, how it works, and how to use it as a helpful tool for learning and organization. Students will explore ways AI can support studying, writing, problem-solving, and time management, while also learning how it can be used as assistive technology to support diverse learning needs. Ethical use and understanding the limits of AI will also be emphasized. By the end of the course, students will feel confident using AI responsibly to enhance — not replace — their own thinking.
