About Bachelor of
Pharmacy
Bachelor of pharmacy is an undergraduate program provides its students to learn about new medications their formulation, development, testing, and marketing in respective field. It is four-year program in the area of pharmacy education. B.Pharma course consists of the study of multifarious subjects related to pharmaceutical sciences, such as hospital pharmacy, industrial pharmacy, medicinal chemistry and herbs used as medicine.
After completion of bachelor degree in pharmacy graduates can earn good salary packages. In addition to this Pharma graduates can go for registration in pharmacy council of India and open their own pharmacy, work in hospitals and can pursue advanced degrees such as M Pharmacy, PharmD, and so on.

Pharmaceutics:
This field of pharmacy deals with drug formulations, administration and dispensing that are safe and effective in preventing diseases through number of theory and practical subjects such as biopharmaceutics, novel drug delivery system, industrial pharmacy, pharmaceutical engineering.
Pharmacognosy:
Overview of crude drugs of natural products and their utilization in Pharmacy field through theory and practical subjects i.e. Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry, and herbal drug technology.
Pharmacology:
Knowledge of drug action in human body after administration. This subject deals with therapeutic action, interactions with food, contraindications of drugs when delivered in living organisms through theory and practical subjects.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry:
Deals with drug discovery, synthesis, drug design and analysis of drugs to make new pharmaceutical entity through various theory subjects like inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, and medicinal chemistry.
