Children under the age of 12 years old are allowed to visit on Sundays only.
PHONE CALLS
You could place an external call from your room by dialing:
Access digit 8 + the number you are calling. For overseas phone calls and faxes the General Services Department can assist you by dialing the extension 1180 or 1181 and placing your request.
GENERAL SERVICES
This office secures first aid or any other services needed upon request.
Call extension
1180 or 1181 for assistance.
HOSPITAL ADMISSION
First you need to obtain your doctor's approval to enter the hospital. Then you proceed to the Admission’s Office to:
- Reserve the date of your hospitalization
- Clear your health coverage (third party, out-of-pocket, etc.)
- Other (special medical treatment, etc.)
Pre Admission Unit (PAU)
WHERE TO BEGIN
The PAU nurse will contact you before your scheduled surgery.

Duration: 1 - 2 hours

AFTER YOUR VISIT
You will receive a call from the Hospital to confirm the date and time of your intervention. Remember to ask for your surgery preparation leaflet
PATIENT RELATIONS

If you are lost, if you need a helping hand, if you have any complaints, suggestions or need assistance in your paperwork, contact the Patient Relations Department located in the GF at Extensions 1690 or 505.
MEDICAL RECORDS
The Medical Records Department will provide you or a designated person on your behalf with the following:
- Your X-rays (after obtaining your doctor’s approval first)
- A copy of your laboratory tests
- A resume of your medical file

BEFORE YOUR SURGERY
SAFE DEPOSIT
For your convenience, a safe deposit box is available at the General Services Department. For more information on securing your safe deposit kindly request the assistance of the Nursing Desk located on your floor.
The Administration of the Hospital is not responsible for any loss of personal and valuable items in patient rooms or in other hospital premises.
CHURCH SERVICES
A mass is celebrated every Tuesday and Friday 7:45 a.m. at the Hospital's Church.
SMOKING POLICY
Saint George Hospital is a smoke free hospital. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the patients’ rooms and in all the service departments.
NUTRITIOUS MEALS
The Food Services department offer a range of nutritious meals that cater to different dietary needs and restrictions, providing you with the energy and nutrients necessary for recovery and healing. These meals are carefully planned by dietitians and prepared by trained chefs, ensuring that they are both healthy and delicious. Contact us on extension 1640.
