If you have already submitted an inquiry and started an application, access your application portal here Admission Timeline Admissions Visits: November 2025 – January 2026 Application Checklist Due: January 16, 2026 Financial Aid Applications and documents Due: January 16, 2026 Supporting documents (including transcripts, recommendations and testing): January 30, 2026 Admissions Decisions Published: February 27, 2026 Enrollment Decisions and Deposits Due: March 13, 2026 All applications received after the deadline will be reviewed after April 1 for grades with space available. For 2025-2026 applications, please submit an inquiry or contact Admission. Student Visits Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicants will meet in small groups and interact with Burgundy faculty and staff. Grades 1-5 applicants will participate in reading, writing, and math assessments . Student visits will be scheduled after all requirements are completed. Grades 6-8 applicant visits will take place during the school day by individual appointments. Middle school applicants will participate in academic assessments and interviews. Recommendations Teacher recommendations are required for every applicant who is in a school, preschool, or daycare program. Applicants for Junior Kindergarten through Grade 5 are required to submit at least one recommendation form from their current teachers. Applicants for Grades 6-8 must submit math and English teacher recommendations from their current teachers in those subjects. If the same teacher teaches both English and math, that teacher should complete both recommendation forms. Recommendation forms are completed and processed through our Veracross Application Portal. You will be asked to provide your child’s current teacher’s email through the portal. No more than two recommendations will be accepted per student. Transcripts Transcripts and progress reports are required for all applicants (including Junior Kindergarten if available). Please submit a signed Transcript Request Form to your child’s school, to then be forwarded to Burgundy’s Admission Office via fax, email, or mail. Testing We require testing for all students applying for Junior Kindergarten, Kindergarten or first grade who are not enrolled in an accredited school or preschool program at the time of application. Children five years old and younger should take the WPPSI-IV (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence); and children six years old or older should take the WISC-V (Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children). We are not requiring testing for grades 2-8 but applicants may choose to submit evaluations dated within the past 2 years. Parent / Guardian Interview Burgundy values the partnership between the school and families. The interview is an opportunity to discuss your family’s interests and goals and is required for lower school families .
