Get ready for a summer of joy and discovery!
Our Summer at JDS program is designed to nurture creativity and imagination in our young learners, build community, and make every summer day special. The inquiry-driven and play-based curriculum is focused around engaging weekly themes. Twice-weekly soccer camp with Soccer Stars will be returning to the program, in addition to a special focus on social-emotional learning. We can’t wait to learn and grow with you this summer!

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to guarantee your child’s spot in the program. To pay the deposit, click the link below. If you are a current JDS family, please choose “Current JDS Families.” If you are not a current JDS family, please choose “Community Families.”
Sign up by March 1, 2026 and get $50 off your deposit. Sign up for all 9 weeks and get a 5% discount.
Your child’s place in the summer program is not reserved until the Agreement and your deposit are received.

Location:
Our Summer at JDS program is making an exciting move right next door at Temple B’nai Torah in Solomike Early Childhood Center’s facilities.
Ages:
Toilet-trained children ages 2.5–6.
Dates:
9 weekly sessions, June 15–August 14; register for individual sessions or the entire summer.
Hours:
Half day (8:30-1) and full day (8:30-5).
Meals:
Solomike offers breakfast, a warm lunch, and all snacks! All meals are kosher-style and vegetarian. Students also have the option of bringing their own vegetarian meals from home.
Summer program enrollment is open to the community; children do not need to be JDS students to attend.

My child really developed an interest in soccer, and made great progress in her alphabet skills, social skills, interest in doing things independently, and confidence. All the staff always seemed to be so happy and engaged. It was an enormous help for us this summer not to have to organize a series of camps and worry about my child trying to adjust to all new people and places while still so little and needing so much care.
