About Us - La Salle Green Hills
Six Decades of Innovation, Adaptation, and Achievement
La Salle Green Hills: A dynamic and innovative school that has evolved over sixty years, adapting to online learning, integrating schools, and graduating accomplished students.
History of LSGH
The history of La Salle Green Hills started in the early 1950s, when the Brothers of De La Salle College-Manila, led by Br. H. Gabriel Connon FSC, acquired a six-hectare lot on Ortigas Avenue in Mandaluyong City to relocate the De La Salle Novitiate from Baguio and accommodate requests for admission to the then De La Salle Grade School on Taft Avenue, Manila.
From a young school that opened its doors in July 1959 to preparatory and grades 1 and 2 pupils, La Salle Green Hills has evolved into the bustling, dynamic, and innovative school that it is today. In the past sixty years, the Lasallian Brothers has sown the seeds for the Lasallian ministry of education through innovative and relevant educational programs, propelled by highly competent and committed educators in a 21st century learning environment.
Amid the challenges brought about by the pandemic, the school has not only made a successful migration from onsite to online learning; it has also made the shift to the integrated school set-up, opened admission to female enrollees and continued provision of alternative routes to education.
To date, La Salle Green Hills has graduated more than twenty thousand high school students who distinguished themselves in a wide array of careers.
