Introduction
The programme provides an overview of the state of waste management covering key elements such as, social systems, financial and institutional aspects along with entrepreneurship in waste management. Learners will be able to understand the importance of waste management and learn about appropriate and sustainable solutions.
Objective
To sensitize the learners about the issues related to waste generation and its impact on environment and human health
To familiarize the learners to appropriate disposal and treatment methods, regulations and practices in waste management
To enable the learners to apply the knowledge and contribute towards waste reduction and its effective management.

Fresh Graduates, mid career professionals, Persons working in waste management sector, entrepreneus, Officials in Municipal Corporations, Researchers and Those keen to enrich their knowledge on waste management.

Eligibility for admission:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
