Tuition & Financial Aid - Lake Forest Academy Lake Forest Academy seeks to make our education accessible to all qualified students. Lake Forest Academy offers over $6.3 million in financial aid grants annually. Financial aid grants are primarily need-based and vary in range depending upon each family’s financial situation. Additionally, we offer a limited number of merit scholarships, ranging from $10,000 - $15,000, which do not require an additional application. The Academy does not offer athletic scholarships nor other non-need based extracurricular scholarships. Lake Forest Academy now partners with Clarity to process financial aid applications. Based on the financial information you provide, Clarity will generate an estimate of your family’s expected contribution to educational expenses. Our Financial Aid Committee will review Clarity’s recommendation along with your family’s individual circumstances to determine a final financial aid package. Admission & Financial Aid Deadline: January 15, 2026 LFA is now accepting applications for the 2026-27 school year on a rolling basis. Tuition 2026-27 Day Student: $57,150 Boarding Student: $79,775 International Fee: $2,500 *These amounts include tuition, room & board, and fees. Textbooks and Student Health Insurance are additional. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. There is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with other schools that accept the Clarity Application at no cost. In the case of divorced, separated or never married parents, both biological parents (and step-parents, if applicable) are required to submit a Clarity financial aid application. Make sure to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity application to upload additional tax documentation.
