GRAND BAHAMA, The Bahamas — On Friday, March 6, 2026, the Grand Bahama Island Promotion Board (GBIPB), along with the Tourism Development Corporation (TDC) announced its partnership with Celebrity Chef Bri to host its first Edible Art Showcase, “The Gilded Plate,” on March 15, 2026.
Britney Bullard, also known as Celebrity Chef Bri, is trained in Italian, Caribbean, and West African cuisine. She is known for blending Caribbean flavours with global techniques, creating her own genre called Caribbean Luxury Contemporary.
Senior Executive at the Tourism Development Corporation (TDC) Aulenna Robinson shared her perspective on the initiative, saying, “With Tourism Development in the business of promoting local businesses and entrepreneurs, her talents speak for itself. This event will up the level of culinary tourism in The Bahamas and Grand Bahama.”
Celebrity Chef Bri has built her reputation working with high-profile clients around the world, including 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Jeremih, and others.
Eager to make a mark locally, Chef Bri spoke about her plans to showcase talent and creativity in Freeport. “My initiative here in Freeport is to put more eyes on the culinary industry here,” she said.
“I’m looking forward to displaying some of the techniques and talent that I’ve learned globally and bringing it home.”
“We’re looking forward to a great evening of epicurean experiences. It’s definitely going to be gastronomical, and I think it’s something that Freeport has not seen before, and I’m very excited,” she added.
The event will feature a five-course tasting experience along with live entertainment and artwork from local students across Grand Bahama. The showcase aims to provide attendees with a display of some of the techniques and talent Bullard has acquired abroad, all while enjoying opportunities to mingle and connect.
The exact location will remain private and will be shared with guests a few days prior to the event.
Brand Communication Representative for GBIPB Jillian Williams also shared her enthusiasm for the event.  “We are excited that this brings a different dynamic to Grand Bahama in terms of promoting culinary tourism and making Grand Bahama diverse in terms of its culinary offerings. We are excited to sponsor this event and see all the things that Chef Bri has planned and encourage persons to come out and experience this Gilded Plate.”
