Materials Shows KS1, KS2 and KS3
Introductory Solids, Liquids and Gases
KS1
Pupils see some exciting and unfamiliar solids, liquids and gases with an emphasis on ‘wow’ science and spectacular demonstrations.
Solids, Liquids and Gases
years 3 and 4
Pupils learn about different materials and their properties in this spectacular show using liquid nitrogen and solid carbon dioxide.
The explosive
Crazy Changes Show
for years 5 and 6 follows on from solids, liquids and gases to explain reversible and irreversible changes by heating, cooling, burning and mixing.
Shows are available on the following dates:
11th – 14th March 2025 (British Science Week)
Flash Bang – What a Reaction!
KS3
An explosive, states of matter and chemical reactions show with demonstrations using explosions, burning, colour changes and gas!
Shows are available on the following dates:
6th – 7th March 2025 (British Science Week)
From 1st April 2025 the cost for any of the above shows is £2.75 per pupil (please add £6.00 per pupil admission to this cost)
