Vice President of
Finance & Administration
In speaking about Carey’s hire, Albertus President, Dr. Marc M. Camille, commented:
“In conducting a national search that spanned multiple months, I was struck by the
quality of the applicant pool for the College’s next Vice President for Finance and
Administration. In that process, Carey Cseszko emerged as a most compelling and ideal
professional to join the College’s leadership team. The breadth of her experience,
her many demonstrated successes, and her palpable connection with our distinctive
mission-centric values all heighten my anticipation to welcome Carey to the Albertus
family.”
Cseszko joins Albertus Magnus College following a successful tenure at Connecticut
College, where she served as Associate Vice President for Finance and Interim VP for
Finance. In these roles, she led accounting, budgeting, and risk management functions
while overseeing a $500 million endowment. Her career also includes significant leadership
roles as Controller at Post University and Corporate Controller for the American Higher
Education Development Corporation. Throughout her career, she has been recognized
for her ability to navigate complex financial environments while maintaining a student-centered
focus.
“The Dominican mission and Catholic identity of Albertus align with my personal and
professional experiences and commitments, and I am passionate about the transformational
power of education, championing opportunities for as many students as possible,” said
Carey Cseszko. “During my campus visit, I was overwhelmed by the passion that all
community members share for Albertus and their desire to contribute to the sustainability
of the institution. I am excited to work with President Camille and the College's
vice presidents in providing leadership to enable Albertus to continue educating for
the next century, compassionate, adaptable leaders who, through living their purpose,
transform their own lives and the communities and world around them.”
Cseszko holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Georgia State
University, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Western Governors University,
and a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics and French from The Pennsylvania
State University.
