Immunization Records in Vermont
The Vermont Immunization Registry (IMR) is a secure, centralized health information system containing Vermonters' immunization records. Medical providers and school nurses use the IMR to find patient histories, print IMR reports and report coverage.
The Immunization Registry Team is expecting updates to Automatic HL7 messaging (VXU) in Spring 2026 to assist VDH and other constituents with required reporting and vaccine ordering practices. This will include accepting updates, edits, and deletions from a practice’s EHR, and
Vaccine National Drug Codes (NDC)
.
There will be additional communications to follow regarding this change in the coming weeks and months. Print and save our
One-Pager
for more information.
Access to the Registry is limited to medical professionals and school users.
