Curriculum Philosophy Statement
List of 1 items.
The Pine School curriculum is designed to cultivate intellectual curiosity while fostering the joy of learning.
Teachers facilitate engaging and productive inquiry and discussion that balances and encourages academic, artistic, and athletic development. We provide a rich curriculum while striving to instill high academic achievement, a sense of commitment, and an obligation to community involvement. The Pine School continually builds on the core values of the School’s Honor Code: Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Equality. In addition, Pine School students are taught that growth and development are a way of life and that excellence is the product of effort, good habits, self-motivation, gratitude, and empathy.
