Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
A scholarship is a
financial award
given to students to help cover the cost of their education. Most scholarships at Rider are
based on academic merit
, recognizing your achievements and hard work. Scholarships are renewable, meaning you’ll continue to receive them each year as long as you meet the required criteria. No repayment is needed for scholarships and grants.
Once you apply and are admitted to Rider University, no separate scholarship application is needed! If you meet the criteria, you’ll
automatically be awarded scholarships
as part of your financial aid offer package, personalized to match your achievements and background. Please note, awards may vary and are subject to change.
