From its inception, Burgundy has educated children in innovative ways. Our students learn by doing. The school community and its two campuses offer a nurturing atmosphere that inspire creativity through the arts and develop critical thinking skills with an integrated curriculum and hands-on projects.

Burgundy educates children from Junior Kindergarten through grade 8. The admission process begins in the fall prior to the year in which a student enrolls.

The Burgundy that our students and families cherish today is the product of a handful of families doing together what none could have done individually: purchasing land, rehabilitating and raising buildings, and hiring a professional faculty. The school our founding families started more than 75 years ago thrives today because our current and alumni families continue to follow the example of their generosity and commitment.

Our one-of-a-kind independent school has flourished over the past 75 years in large part because of the generosity of our community. We are both excited and humbled to set a course for the next 75 years.
The word
Philanthropy
comes from the Greek words Philos (love) and Anthrōpos (humanity). The work of the Advancement Office is to partner with all members of our community to support and celebrate today’s Burgundy students and faculty, enhance Burgundy’s magical campuses, and plan a sustainable future for our school.
You, our current families, past families, alumni, grandparents, faculty and staff, and friends are key partners in this important work.
