The communications team is the main point of contact for journalists at local, regional and international level.
News services
Our team issues regular news releases on ground-breaking research, major projects, partnership initiatives and topical issues.
We organise news conferences, photocalls and press briefings as a service to the media.
We can provide guest editorial relating to the work of the University, including facts, figures and background information.
Media visits
If you are a journalist and would like to arrange a media visit to the University our team will be happy to arrange this for you.
We can arrange and oversee filming relevant to our work, both for commercial projects and news.

British Sign Language (BSL) users can contact the University of Edinburgh via Contact Scotland BSL, the online British Sign Language video relay interpreting service.
