Skidaway Institute of Oceanography has meeting spaces available for the University System of Georgia educational and administration use, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm,
with no weekends or holidays. University of Georgia affiliates receive a special reduced rate.
We do not host weddings, graduations, birthday parties, or other social events.

ROEBLING HOUSE
$40/hour ($250/day)
The Roebling House is ideal for meetings that include catered meals. It has a medium-sized meeting space with abundant natural lighting. A kitchen and serving bar are built-in. Complete with stove/oven, microwave, two full-size refrigerators, a double sink, and plenty of counter space for food preparations. Bathrooms are located on the second floor (accessible by stairs only; not ADA compliant.) Seating approximately 30 people with tables and chairs, or 40 with chairs only.
(A/V equipment is not available for this space.)
Catering is allowed and is the sole responsibility of the building renters.

AUDITORIUM
(McGowan Library Auditorium) $650/day (4 hours or less $100/hr)

Seating: chairs only – 90 participants (w/tables depends on how many tables are used)
Renovations were completed in December 2023. There is an inviting lobby that leads to the newly renovated auditorium that can be used as a seminar space, or configured with tables and chairs to meet your needs for a conference or teaching session. Zoom meetings are available as well as PowerPoint presentations and more. Bathrooms are ADA-compliant. This facility has no kitchen area, but catered meals are allowed. Skidaway Institute of Oceanography is not responsible for ordering or payment for catering.

MCSRIC CONFERENCE ROOM (MARINE and COASTAL SCIENCE RESEARCH and INSTRUCTIONAL CENTER)
$325/day
Seats 12 around the table; another 15-18 along the perimeter
The MCSRIC conference room has an executive-style table that seats 12 with another 15-18 chairs along the wall area. With three large whiteboards, conference calling availability and a state-of-the-art system that supports Zoom meetings, PowerPoint presentations, and more, this meeting space has everything you need to hold your private conference. There is no kitchen area use, but catered meals are allowed and are the sole responsibility of the renter. Bathrooms are located directly across the hall.
