Our short-term program specializes in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, post-surgery and stroke recovery, and fracture, fall and frail patient care. Burke at Schaffer Extended Care Center Through Schaffer’s partnership with Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, our physical, occupational, and speech therapists provide comprehensive rehabilitative care and individualized treatment programs for patients onsite. We are focused on helping patients rapidly recover and regain their function and independence. Outpatient and inpatient physiotherapy staff members trained by Burke experts work to ensure the therapeutic care meets the high standards Burke is recognized for. So we cultivate an environment that meets the needs and interests of each patient.
