The Information Technology Department (ITD) helps power the digital services that keep our City running and make life better for everyone in San José. We’re building a digital foundation that supports a safe, accessible, and innovative city for our residents, businesses, and visitors.
As the Capital of Silicon Valley, San José leads with responsible innovation. Our team works with partners across the City and with leading technology companies to bring modern, effective tools to every part of local government. ITD aims to provide meaningful impact through smart uses of technology in service of employees and the community. Our staff executes and sustains vital City services through business solutions, cybersecurity, and the San José 311 service.
