The objective of education in Islam is to prepare individuals to be guided and governed by the spiritual and ethical values of Islam so that there is a positive effect on their actions, decisions and approach in life. Assalaamu Alaykum Warahmatullah Wa Baraktuh,
Darul Uloom Al-Madania is excited to host The international Qur'an Competition.
Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Time: 9:30 AM
Girls’ location: Darul Imdad (Madania community center) 150 Sobieski st, Buffalo, NY, 14212
Boys’ location: Masjid Zakariya 182 Sobieski st, Buffalo, NY, 14212
Admission: $20 before April 12, afterwards: $30 (Please Zelle at

)
Registration deadline: April 19, 2026
This event is open to everyone! all schools across USA, Canada & beyond are welcome to participate.
Many Imams and Qurra will be invited from across USA & Canada to be the judges for this competition.
There will be a total of 5 categories for boys: (all are for hifz)
1st: Any 1 Juz (to join this category you must be 7, 8 or 9 years of age )
2nd: Any 1 Juz (to join this category you must be 10 or 11 years of age )
3rd: Any 5 Juz (to join this category you must be 13 years old or younger)
4th: Any 10 Juz (to join this category you must be 15 years old or younger)
5th: All 30 Juz (to join this category you must be 19 years old or younger)
There will be a total of 6 categories for girls:
1st: Juniors Nazirah of last 3 Juz (to join this category you must be between 8 and 12 years of age)
2nd: Seniors Nazirah of the entire Quran (to join this category you must be between 13 and 17 years of age)
3rd: Hifz of last half Juz (to join this category you must be 11 years old or younger)
4th: Hifz of full 30th Juz (to join this category you must be 13 years old or younger)
5th: Hifz of last 5 Juz (to join this category you must be 16 years old or younger)
6th: Hifz of all 30 Juz (to join this category you must be 20 years old or younger)
(Girls competition will be separate from the boys and will be within the sisters only.)
(The higher the category you choose, the greater the prizes you will win)
Note: All competitors will receive free lunch and for all other attendees, tickets will be sold for purchasing food and snacks.
There will also be a Bazaar for sisters only.
There will be many great prizes from Umrah trip, cash, electronics, toys, etc.
