The College of Health Professions provides undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students with the opportunity to hone their healthcare skills and further develop their professionalism within highly-interactive, medically-focused programs.

Communication Sciences and Disorders
A major in Communication Sciences and Disorders provides an academically challenging pre-professional education in the field of speech-language hearing pathology in preparation for graduate school or for licensure. Support courses are provided in the fields of biology, physics, and psychology that are required for professional certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

The HSU PA program is dedicated to academic excellence in medical education. Students can enter this professional program upon completion of a bachelor’s degree and specified prerequisite courses. The PA program will take 27 months to complete on a full-time basis.
