As a regional medical referral center, Kootenai Health (formerly Kootenai Medical Center) provides a comprehensive range of medical services to patients throughout the Inland Northwest.
Kootenai Health’s main hospital, located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, features a capacity of 381 beds. We have more than 200 employed providers across 25+ clinical specialties from family medicine, cardiology, orthopedics, surgery and more. Had to get a blood draw . No one can find my deep veins, every time I come to kootenai lab they find one. Usually it’s a five minute process. I was a little concerned when a young man said he’d be drawing my blood bc I know it’s hard to get a vein on me. 1st try he got it! Levi is an amazing phlebotomist!

The physician Dr. Charles Cui comes from CDA to see patients. He is energetic and thorough. I trusted his care immediately. Great bedside manner.

I have been to urgent care many times and have lived in Kootenai County my entire life. I had Dr. Bowman and he was the absolute best doctor I’ve had thus far. His bedside manner is better than any doctor I have seen there and I am just so grateful that urgent care has him.

The staff receptionist, Shannon, was very helpful from the moment I walked into the Cancer clinic. And Mia escorted me to the examination room and gave me a quick checkup and explanation of what I should expect. Dr O’Neill was prompt and courteous. He explained that I would need more testing and would see me as quickly within the next two weeks. All in all, a very expedient visit. Thank you!
