Bonnie Joubert, Ph.D., M.P.H., epidemiologist, manages extramural projects studying the impact of environmental exposures on chronic diseases including cardiovascular, kidney, and immune/autoimmune diseases, as well as statistical/computational strategies to assess the health effects of complex exposures. Joubert directed the Powering Research through Innovative Methods for mixtures in Epidemiology (PRIME) program to enable statistical methods development for mixtures analyses and contributes as a project scientist to collaborative longitudinal cohort studies and clinical trials through multi-institute NIH partnerships.
Joubert completed her M.P.H. in Epidemiology from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and her Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her prior research spans the genomics of chronic disease and the impact of early life exposures on the epigenome, including contributions to the development of the
