Norfolk Museum of Freemasonry
About the museum
The Norfolk Museum of Masonry was officially opened on
18th September 2018
by
RW Bro Stephen Allen
. It offers a fascinating look at the history of Freemasonry in Norfolk, with
free entry
available to both the public and Brethren.
The museum is open on
Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
, from
10:00am to 2:00pm
. While some exhibits are permanent, one cabinet is reserved for
rotating displays from Norfolk Lodges
, updated every six months.
If you’re interested in visiting, learning more, or viewing something specific, we welcome you to come and explore.
Research & Contributions
We maintain a
Reference Library and Archive
to support research into Freemasonry in Norfolk. If you would like to access specific materials, please contact the team in advance so your request can be prepared before your visit.
We also welcome
donations of Masonic items
that may be of interest to the collection. If you can help with
cataloguing
or would like to volunteer to assist in running the museum, we’d love to hear from you.
