Certificate II in Salon Assistant SHB20216 ( RTO 0186 )
The qualification prepares students to provide assistance to hairdressers in a salon environment. Course units include elements of styling, basin services, applying colour and completing in-store operational, and sales duties. Upon successful completion, VET graduates will receive a nationally recognised qualification that can be used to seek employment.
Future pathways
After completing the Certificate II in Salon Assistant, students may gain an apprenticeship in Hairdressing and continue their training or work in a retail environment.
