State-of-the-Art Care
Our team of board-certified surgeons uses some of the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options to guide you toward healing and a better quality of life.
Da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System
This minimally invasive computer-assisted system provides our surgeons with enhanced vision, precision, dexterity and control. With just a few small incisions, patients can expect less pain and a quicker recovery.
Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS)
This imaging technology uses a camera attached to a flexible scope and ultrasound to see the interior of the lung and allows the physician to evaluate the lung and surrounding structures.
StealthStation™ S7 Surgical Navigation System
This surgical system has image-merging capabilities, and allows surgeons to visualize structures and anatomy in high resolution while performing neurosurgery procedures. It offers optical and Electromagnetic (EM) tracking capabilities.
SuperDimension™ Navigation System
This system performs Electromagnetic Navigation Bronchoscopy™ (ENB™) procedures by incorporating technology similar to a global positioning system (GPS) for more hard-to-reach areas in the lung. This navigation system guides the physician through the lung and directly to the targeted area.
Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
TAVR, a minimally invasive treatment option for treating damaged aortic valves, involves a small incision in the groin. A catheter is run through the femoral artery and guided toward the heart. A new valve travels through the catheter and is deployed inside the damaged valve, allowing it to expand properly. The catheter is then removed, and the incision is closed.
Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR)
TCAR, a minimally invasive treatment option for carotid artery disease, involves a small incision near the collarbone. A stent is placed into the carotid artery through a small poke hole while blood flow is temporarily reversed. Little particles of plaque that would otherwise break off and travel upward to the brain are filtered out of the blood, further decreasing the risk of stroke.
Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS)
This minimally invasive surgical technique is used to diagnose and treat problems in the chest. It involves a tiny camera and surgical instruments that are inserted into the chest through one or more small incisions.
