Planning and Building Standards staff are at times working remotely but are able to process planning and building warrant applications as normal.
Payments
In addition to accepting online payments for applications made through the online portals we are able to accept payments over the phone. Please call 01382 433066.

The building standards team in Dundee is the verifier for the local area. Their function is to administer the building regulations to secure the health, safety, welfare and convenience of persons in or about buildings. When building work or a conversion takes place the completed building must meet the essential standards in order to satisfy the building regulations.
The team is also involved in a variety of public safety issues including dealing with dangerous buildings, sports grounds, licensed premises, houses in multiple occupation and safety of stages and other similar structures.
