National Security Agency
of the United States of America. Institutions that receive a

The Cybersecurity Center supports Florida Memorial University’s mission to enhance the lives of our constituency through leadership in cybersecurity by educating the future workforce in cybersecurity principles, engaging in lifelong learning, demonstrating ethical decision-making, and providing a commitment of service to society.
The mission of the Cybersecurity Center is to provide a venue for cybersecurity awareness, cybersecurity outreach, and cyber defense education in cybersecurity principles, information assurance, network security, computer forensics, cryptography, risk assessment and mitigation, disaster recovery and management, cybersecurity security regulations and compliance, and cybersecurity management to strengthen the pipeline for cybersecurity professionals. In addition, the center encourage collaboration on partnerships with community needs, and interdisciplinary exchanges.
By conducting this effort, the Center for Cybersecurity hopes to foster greater understanding and perception of cybersecurity resulting in better preparation of students entering the workforce for the benefit of industry and society.
