High-achieving students challenge themselves inside and outside of the classroom by taking honors or upper-division courses, conducting research and participating in degree enrichment opportunities like the global education program, a Glenn College internship program, or a second major or dual degree.

Undergraduate Research
Work closely with world-class faculty, investigate timely issues, and make a potential significant contribution to the field. You can participate in research through a structured research program, an independent research thesis or by assisting faculty with their research.

Students majoring in the Glenn College are encouraged to add an international perspective to their degree by participating in a Global Education program and/or completing the Global Option in Public Affairs.

he Office of International Affairs, Interested students should
attend an information session and can review different types of Global Education programs
.
Global Option in Public Affairs allows public affairs students to document international expertise without adding time to graduation. Upon completion, a “Global Option in Public Affairs” designation will be added to a student’s transcript.

This living-learning community invites first-year students, from any major, who aspire to make a difference in the world to live together on the same residence hall floor, participate together in programing and take classes together. Students in the learning community have common interest in public policy, politics, civic engagement, leadership, and service.
