How to Apply - School Leavers
Below are all the details you need to apply for a place on one of our School Leaver courses.
Find my course
Complete an application form
The quickest way to apply is to find your chosen course using our
Course Search
and click on
Apply now
.
Other application methods are available:
Download the
B&FC Application Form
and send it to us by freepost - the address is on the form.
Call our Course Enquiries Team on

and we will complete the form with you.
Are you home educated?
If you are home educated and wish to apply for one of our courses, please complete the application form for your chosen course. When filling in the form, select “Home Educated” from the drop-down menu in the “Previous School” field.
Once we receive your application, a Progress Coach will contact you to determine whether you are undertaking any exams or qualifications. If you are, you will be invited to attend an interview to discuss your course selection. If you are not taking any exams, you will be invited to complete a BKSB assessment test. The results will help us identify the most suitable pathway for you, after which you will also be invited for an interview.
Attend an interview
Once we have received your application we will invite you for an informal chat with a tutor about your course choice.
This is your time to discover more about that course and to talk through your career ambitions.
Get confirmation of your place
Once you have spoken with your tutor we will write to you with an offer, which includes the next steps you need to take.
A place on your chosen course will be offered on the condition that you meet entry requirements.
Take a closer look
We will invite you to our open days and events where you can find out more about your chosen subject area and speak to an industry specialist about the route to your future career.
Accept your place
Contact our Admissions Team to accept your place, providing your full name, date of birth, student ID (shown at the top of your offer letter) and course title.
