Songs and music mirror history, values, norms and the mentality of a society. When folklore and cultural ceremonies are celebrated with songs and music, it is to demonstrate the tradition and customs of a society. Music is a significant part of our changeless culture. The Augusta Museum of History is proud to host local musicians throughout the year as an extension of our educational programming. Many of our special events will include a musical component. In addition, we may also offer stand-alone programs. Follow our Facebook page and Instagram account to stay up-to-date on upcoming musical features.
