What You Need to Know
What is the survey?
The Pregnancy Risk Assessment Monitoring System (PRAMS) is a research project that helps future families by understanding pregnancy habits and post-partum experiences. Your voice matters when it comes to the health of all Vermont families.
How do I know if I am picked to take the survey?
Your name might be chosen from the list of new birth certificates. If you get picked, you will get the survey in the mail and have the choice to do it online or with the paper survey you get in the mail. You will also get phone calls from us reminding you to take the survey.
What information is collected?
The PRAMS survey asks about prenatal care, your general feelings about your pregnancy, and health habits before, during, and after pregnancy.

Yes, all answers are kept private and your name or personal information will not be in any reports. Survey answers are grouped together to give us the big picture so no one will know how you answer any questions.
