Visit the Library online
The Library provides 350,000 e-books and more than 30,000 academic e-journals in addition to print books, journals, music scores and DVDs.
Other facilities include bookable study seats and computers, as well as copiers, printers and scanners.
Subject Librarians
Each University School has a dedicated Subject Librarian to support you. Your Subject Librarian will develop your research skills and highlight resources that are good for your course throughout your time at Bath Spa, but you can also book in a one-to-one session.

As well as books for your course, we also have books that you may wish to read for pleasure, with a range of suggestions on display in the Library Foyer.

We provide a mix of study spaces to suit your learning styles. You can choose between quiet and group study areas, drop-in and bookable study desks, spaces with calming views of the fields and hills, bookable rooms for working with your peers on projects and assignments, and comfortable sofas for relaxing with a good book.
When you visit the Library, if you’re not sure where to go, our friendly staff are on hand. We can provide you with a tour of the building, show you how to find resources, book study spaces, and help you navigate the Library and its collections.
The library subscribes to over a hundred premium
online services
including journal archives, streaming video services, image and newspaper databases.
Research from across Bath Spa’s array of subjects is curated and showcased in our two research repositories,
ResearchSPAce
and
BathSPAdata
.
We have dedicated librarians specialising in subject, research, collections, customer and digital service support.
